Wow, amazing stuff. I am extraordinarily grateful to be a part of this family. Mom and Dad you are the best and I honor you.
As expected I walked behind the car and helped my companion back up the vehicle. This seemingly monotonous task remains an important part of being "exactly obedient". But instead of giving just the visual ques to help Elder Marchant gauge the distance of his retreat, I decided to make this moment memorable with audio instructions. I commenced by instructing him to lower his window to get the full impact of my orders. I reassured him with words of comfort in his journey, "You're good, you're good, you're good". I repeated the signals and words of encouragement until our object was met. Everyone in the parking lot understood the utmost importance of safety first.
Missionary life is simply the best. We get stretched, pulled, and comforted. Everything we need is given to us including food shelter and transportation. So many promises are extended to missionaries if we do the work the right way. Why have I been given this opportunity? I'm not sure, but I know God loves me and he loves you.
In the words of Repteviah in Fiddler on the Roof "May the Lord protect and defend you".
I love you and am praying for you.
